Dawei Sun, born in northern China, studied Fine Arts before graduating from the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne (2005). After winning various competitions, he worked for Lolita Lempicka, Balenciaga and John Galliano.
He shared the artistic direction of Cacharel with Ling Liu until 2013, then created DAWEI in September 2016 to offer clothes both urban and romantic, contemporary, sometimes with humor, cut in beautiful Italian fabrics.
